ICT WEB PROMS Info

The project ICT-WEB-PROMS supports the establishment of the European Research Area (ERA) in the Western Balkan Countries (WBC), with the ambition to turning organizations of this region into creators of ICT.

The project is guided by the vision to integrate WBC into the ERA, in:

• Creating the ability in the Western Balkan countries to go beyond the strategies for ICT towards their implementation, for the benefit of businesses, government/administrations and citizens.
Wide spread understanding of ICT will be created and its need for competitiveness, social welfare and the integration with the European Union;

• Raising the level of the Western Balkan countries to that of the countries of the European Union with respect to their participation in the FP7 ICT programme;

• Addressing the entirety of the Western Balkan countries, also outside the major cities, despite historical or political differences.
